Date: Saturday 23 August 2014
The Rayburn Brothers make their debut appearance at Cooper’s Pub and restaurant on Saturday, August 23, 2014. Keith and Craig Rayburn are brothers who have been writing songs and making music for many years. More than just the synergy of the brothers’ infectious songs, it is also the incredible talent of the rest of the band coming together that bring the brother’s songs to life. The talented Eliza James has been singing previously with Keith for years and was a natural choice to join the brothers’ band. Nick Heinz has been polishing his fluid lead guitar-works ever since he and the two brothers used to jam in the echo chamber of the stairwells of UC Santa Cruz back in the ’70s. Kevin Taylor is one of those keyboard players who was born knowing how to play, can do ANYTHING, and DOES do anything at all needed to bring it together. Richard Tackland, bass man, is the Rock of Gibraltar and the back bone of the rhythm section. Playing drums for the band is Andrew “Tuck” who started at the beginning of 2014 and is adapting to the Rayburn Brother’s sound nicely. ”Tuck” is an accomplished musician who hits hard and is always driving the band aggressively onstage. The Rayburn Brothers Band is from the Monterey Bay and information can be found at www.rayburnbrothers.com
